End-User Licence Agreement & Terms of Service
This software is provided by DoneByStudents (“we”) to a single named client business (“you”) under a direct service agreement. It is not offered to the general public.
1. Licence
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use this integration with your own QuickBooks Online company for the duration of our service agreement. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense it.
2. What the software does
It reads invoice details you send us, looks up matching records in your QuickBooks Online company, and creates draft invoices there. It does not send invoices to your customers, does not take payments, and has no ability to delete records.
3. Your responsibility to review
Drafts are drafts. You are responsible for reviewing every invoice before sending it and for the accuracy of what you send us. Automated processing can misread an instruction, and tax treatment and totals must be confirmed by you or your accountant. Nothing here is accounting, tax, or legal advice.
4. Availability
The software is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, with no warranty of uninterrupted operation. It depends on third-party services (Intuit’s QuickBooks Online API and email delivery) that we do not control.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising from use of this software is limited to the fees paid for the service in the three months preceding a claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
6. Ending the connection
You may disconnect the application from within QuickBooks at any time, without notice to us (Settings → Apps → Disconnect). Once we confirm with Intuit that access has been revoked, we remove the stored access credentials. You may also ask us at any time to delete those credentials and the invoice details we hold — see the Privacy Policy.
If our agreement ends, we revoke the credentials with Intuit and remove them along with the invoice details we hold, without waiting to be asked.
7. Changes and governing law
We will notify you directly of material changes to these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
